I came to Hangzhou this time in search of a place to completely relax and avoid the crowds by West Lake. I chose New Century Grand Hotel Hangzhouin Xiaoshan, which was originally just a regular place to stay. After staying, I realized that from the moment I opened the door, every inch of space was incorporating the word "comfortable" into my daily life.
As soon as I entered the lobby, I let go of the exhaustion of rushing. The high dome filtered out the noise from the outside world, and the warm light fell on the beige sofa. Even the few minutes waiting for check-in became a relaxing moment. The moment I received my room card and opened the door, I truly realized that I had made the right choice - the nearly 50 square meter space had no sense of tightness, and the entire floor to ceiling glass window framed the city skyline of Xiaoshan. The silhouette of the Qiantang River in the distance was faintly visible in the clouds, and the wind seeped in through the cracks by the window, carrying the unique humid atmosphere of Jiangnan.

The waist and neck are just firmly supported, without the suspended feeling of staying in a strange hotel. I held my newly soaked Longjing and nestled inside, watching the traffic slowly moving downstairs, even forgetting to swipe my phone.
The experience of the bathroom space exceeded expectations, with a dry wet separation design that completely eliminates water accumulation. The German brand's thermostatic showerhead produces even water, and the moment the water flows around the body, the sour and swollen feeling of rushing is completely dissipated. The countertop of the washbasin is wide enough to hold all the skincare products I bring, and the free toiletries have a faint fragrance without a pungent industrial feel. Even the cotton pads used to wipe my hands are thick and soft like towels at home. When I woke up at night, the night lights in the hallway were soft and warm, not dazzling at all. After staying for three days, I didn't even go to popular attractions and just spent my days in the hotel in slow motion. I thought I was just looking for a convenient place to stay, but when I opened the door, I immediately incorporated the vast scenery of Qiantang into my daily life.
As soon as the car came to a complete stop, I looked up and saw the 218 meter tall skyscraper, which stood out prominently in the city skyline of Xiaoshan. Pushing open the door and entering the lobby, the high dome was wrapped in warm gold lights, and the marble floor reflected the figures passing by, completely devoid of the crowded noise of bustling hotels. When checking in at the front desk, the staff smiled and handed me the room card. They kindly reminded me that I could see the sunset over the Qiantang River this evening, and the aerial tea bar on the 50th floor was the best viewing point. I ordered a Hangzhou style tea and the sweet aroma of osmanthus cake mixed with the evening breeze outside the window. Looking down, I could see the traffic on the city road merging into a river of light, and looking up, I could see the sunset glow towards West Lake in the distance, turning pink and purple. That day, I didn't rush to any scenic spots. I sat by the window in the sky, watching the sunset dye the surface of the Qiantang River orange red, even slowing down time.
The time of waking up in the morning is also full of surprises. The breakfast restaurant is located on the upper floors, and while having breakfast, you can look up and see the morning mist of the city. The combination of Chinese and Western dining tables hides many local features of Hangzhou: freshly steamed Ding Sheng cake, fresh and refreshing Pian Er Chuan, and a hot noodle dish that wakes you up bright. In the afternoon when I was free, I bathed in the constant temperature swimming pool of the hotel. The water waves reflected the light of the french window, and swam to the position near the window, as if the whole people were integrated with the outside city scenery.

It's the staff who proactively remind me of the direction of the subway entrance when I go out, the perfect quietness in the hallway when I return to my room late at night, and even in the busy journey, I can steadily catch all of your tired comfort. On the day I left, I stood by the window for a long time, collecting Hangzhou in the sky into Li Li.
